Airplane at Kiel airport

Your tasks

As an electrician, your main tasks will include testing small electrical appliances, building electrical installations and changing lamps in our airport's lighting system. You will also carry out activities in the area of traffic services. Here you will primarily be responsible for aircraft handling, aircraft refuelling and maintenance of the airport infrastructure. In addition to preventative tasks, such as hazard defence, your activities will also include hazard analysis and general monitoring tasks. In addition to the grounds and building maintenance activities, you can also expect other exciting areas of responsibility - we would be happy to tell you more about these in a personal interview.

You have

You have completed vocational training and ideally already have professional experience in general aviation, e.g. in aircraft handling (or comparable). Fire brigade training would be an advantage for fire protection issues, but is not a must. You have no problems with the common MS Office applications. You are in possession of a class B driving licence and you are characterised by a high level of safety awareness as well as a precise and careful way of working. Your willingness to work weekends rounds off your profile.

We offer

You can expect an exciting and varied job directly at the airport in Kiel in a permanent employment relationship on a full-time or part-time basis. You can look forward to a varied range of tasks and the opportunity to support our team at the airport with a great deal of personal responsibility.
