Your tasks

You are jointly responsible for the smooth handling of ships in our port. For example, you will drive the gangways and RoRo ramps or support the connection of our shore power systems. You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks in all parts of our port, such as minor repairs or cleaning and winter service activities in the terminal areas. Thanks to your flexibility and willingness to work outside the box, you will be an elementary part of the port and gain a variety of insights behind the scenes at the seaport of Kiel.

You have

You have completed vocational or technical training and have a class B driving licence. Basically, you would describe yourself as an ‘all-rounder’ and have no problem trying out new things. You are flexible in terms of time and are also available for weekend work. Your willingness to provide service is just as natural for you as a conscientious, independent and team-orientated way of working.
